Pongdej Chaiyakut

Pongdej is known worldwide as a Museum Exhibiting Artist and his work has been shown on multiple continents. He was educated in both Thailand and Europe and he lives in Thailand. His work is expressive, thematic and conveys statements. There is extensive social context which can be interpreted in the thematic work shown here in this Museum Exhibition. In contrast, some of his work using color and brush simply transforms his concepts of beauty into color. His academic achievements over time known as Professor/Dean of Fine Art and his worldwide connections creating art exchanges and hosting “expeditions” of fine artists internationally have created Thailand as a center of art, and artists from all over the world intent on exhibition of visual statements gather here because of Pongdej’s worldwide energies. This energy creates an environment truly reminicent of historical Paris as an art center and center of culture. Some of his exhibitions are listed below.
